Mindlif Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Mindlif AI collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to your use of the Service described in our Terms & Conditions.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password. Phone number is used only if you need to reset your password by text.
Subscription and payment information. When you subscribe, our payment processor Stripe collects and stores your payment card details directly — Mindlif AI does not receive or store your full card number. We store limited billing-related information such as your subscription status, tier, billing period dates, and a reference to your Stripe customer and subscription records.
Usage information. We record which lessons you complete, your progress through each learning path, the questions you send to the AI Tutor, and the Magic Lessons generated for you, so the Service can track your progress and enforce your membership's usage allowances.
Communications. If you contact us for support or a legal request, we keep a record of that correspondence.
2. How We Use Information
- To create and maintain your account and authenticate you when you sign in.
- To provide the Service — deliver lessons, generate AI Tutor responses and Magic Lessons, and track your progress and usage allowances.
- To process payments and manage your subscription, including billing statements and payment receipts.
- To send transactional email — for example account confirmation, password reset, billing statements, receipts, and membership-status notifications (payment failed, grace period, suspension, reactivation, cancellation).
- To respond to support and legal requests.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not currently operate any analytics, advertising, or behavioral-tracking system — see our Cookie Policy.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on the following providers to operate the Service. Each processes information only as needed to perform its function for us:
- Supabase — hosts our database, handles account authentication, and stores your account, progress, and subscription data.
- Stripe — processes subscription payments and stores your payment card details. Mindlif AI does not store your full card number.
- Resend — delivers transactional email on our behalf (statements, receipts, account and membership-status notifications).
- OpenAI — powers the AI Tutor and Magic Lesson generation. Questions you send the AI Tutor and the parameters used to generate Magic Lessons are sent to OpenAI to produce a response; we do not send OpenAI your name, email, or other direct identifiers alongside that content.
These providers have their own privacy practices governing the data they process on our behalf.
4. Cookies and Browser Storage
Mindlif AI does not currently use advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies. We use limited, functional browser storage — described in full in our Cookie Policy — to keep you signed in and to remember your plan selection during signup.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and usage information for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and security purposes, or as required by law.
6. Your Privacy Rights and Deletion Requests
You can review and update certain account information directly in the Service, and you can permanently delete your account yourself at any time from your Account page. Deleting your account takes effect immediately: your profile, learning progress, AI Tutor history, generated lessons, and any complimentary membership access are permanently removed, and any paid subscription is canceled immediately rather than at the end of your billing period. Deletion does not generate a refund for any unused paid time.
We may need to retain certain information even after account deletion where reasonably necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or security obligations, or as otherwise required by law — for example, minimized billing and payment records and a record of which legal documents you accepted and when. This retained information does not include your deleted learning data.

7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encrypted transmission. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Mindlif AI is intended for users 18 years of age and older, as described in our Terms & Conditions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We'll post material changes here with an updated date.
